IoT Week Hits Geneva!

The Internet of Things (IoT) Week is the leading conference on IoT research and emerging technologies. It is organized under the umbrella of the IoT Forum to promote international dialogue and cooperation for IoT innovation, as well as to discuss technical, societal and market issues related to the Internet of Things.

The event will take place over 4 days and will include more than 200 sessions and activities to access the latest developments in the IoT domain, inlcuding:

SixSq at IoT Week

This year, IoT week will include presentations of IoT projects carried out in the canton and the city of Geneva. They will be followed by a panel discussion that addresses the problem of federation of several IoT applications throughout the same city. On Tuesday 6 June 2017 at 16:15, SixSq CEO, Marc-Elian Bégin, will deliver a presentation entitled “Delivering energy savings with smart street lighting, a CityZen success.” CityZen is an initiative that brings together Swiss companies with expertise in the field of Smart Cities and acts as a centre of competence for cities and communes which need advice on the concept, integration and realisation of Smart City projects
