mF2C Meeting to Review Progress on IoT and Fog Computing Solutions
Members of the SixSq team are in Braunschweig in Germany this week for a review meeting of the mF2C project. The meeting will take place over 2 days and is being hosted by the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany.
The meeting will focus on producing a general architecture design for the project, and will also ensure that the project aims will be well served by this architecture.
What are the aims of the project?
The mF2C project addresses the need for an open and coordinated management of fog and cloud computing systems. Using the following use cases, the project will demonstrate that fog computing can improve efficiency and services in everyday situtaions.
- Emergency Situation Management in Smart Cities
- Enriched Navigation Service
- Smart Fog-Hub Service in Airports
